Covid-19 vaccine injuries

While we wholeheartedly support Covid-19 vaccinations, it has become apparent that in rare instances, the vaccine can seriously damage a person’s health. Conditions such as myocarditis, pericarditis, Bell’s palsy and SIRVA (a shoulder injury) have all been linked to the jab. These can have terrible ramifications, potentially resulting in death and long-term side effects.

If this has happened to you or your loved one, we urge you to speak to our solicitors. You may be in a position to make a claim. The government has also said that it intends to roll out a vaccine compensation scheme. This will be available to anyone who suffers an injury arising from one of the State’s vaccination programmes – be it the Covid-19 vaccine or otherwise.

Can I claim for my Covid-19 vaccine injuries?

To date, more than 13,500 people have contacted the Health Products Regulatory Authority reporting a side effect from the Covid-19 vaccine. The majority of these are minor or moderate effects, which are unlikely to lead to a claim. However, a small percentage have developed significant injuries: and it is these people who could have grounds to pursue legal action.

If you developed health complications because of the vaccine, we can assess your case and determine whether you are able to make a claim. We’ll be looking to see whether the vaccine had a defect, and whether on the balance of probabilities, this caused your injuries. If we advise that you do have a case, we’ll ask a medical expert to provide evidence of this.

Getting you on the road to recovery

Our priority is getting you on the road to recovery. In making a claim, we will recover your financial losses, and get you access to the health care you need.
